An educated HR professional with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a certificate in HRM from Baldwin-Wallace University, a Master’s in Public Administration & Non-Profit Mgmt from the University of Akron, and a Master’s in Adult Education and Leadership from Ashland University.  

Tonya D McKissack, CHR, MPA, M.S.Ed is an experienced Human Resource expert with 35 years of experience in HR Management, People Operations, and Workforce Development.   

She has worked for numerous organizations, including for-profit, non-profit, government, workforce development, community action, behavioral health, education, the arts, and hospitality.  

She has also worked as an HR Consultant for start-up companies in corporate America.

Sabina Barber is a highly qualified professional with a Master’s in rhetoric and composition, a Bachelor’s in literature, a minor in creative writing, and certifications in teaching English to speakers of other languages, grant seeking, and nonprofit grant writing. Sabina Barber brings a passion for writing, editing, and lifelong learning, and has developed a diverse skill set through roles as a full-time employee, freelancer, and intern. Working with T.R.E.I.N./BVOU. has further expanded these abilities, allowing Sabina to contribute meaningfully to the broader community.

Ms. Barber is dedicated to bridging the gap between employability and mental health support, recognizing the importance of helping individuals not only secure but also maintain fulfilling employment.
